Pittsboro

In 1787, Pittsboro was established by the NC General Assembly as a new county seat for Orange County. The new courthouse quickly drew in a host of diverse businesses, including inns, taverns, medical practices, and law offices.

Today, Pittsboro remains a thriving small town centered around a charming town square. The town is fast growing and embraces the small town feel and sense of community. Much like Chapel Hill, Pittsboro has a diverse population of artists, farmers, merchants and students.
